Bitcoin's hashrate is up 40% in 2025 — from 651 EH/s in January to over 900 EH/s now.
Even though the block reward is halved, miners are still adding more powerful machines.
-> Bitcoin's network difficulty is stuck at a record 127T (as of May 31), but hashrate keeps rising.
Why? Because new mining rigs are coming online faster than the network can adjust. That’s a sign of strong miner confidence. 💪
-> Bitcoin blocks are being mined faster than expected.
Since the last difficulty change, average block time is just 9 minutes 42 seconds (instead of 10).
Too many miners = faster blocks. A new difficulty adjustment is coming soon.
