Adjustment situation of #美国加征关税 : According to the executive order issued by the White House on May 12, the U.S. has rescinded a total of 91% of the tariffs imposed on Chinese goods as of 12:01 AM Eastern Time on May 14, and modified the reciprocal tariff measures of 34% on Chinese goods, with 24% of the tariffs suspended for 90 days, retaining the remaining 10% tariffs. At the same time, the U.S. has also reduced or rescinded the tariffs on small packages from China, lowering the tax rate on international mail from 120% to 54%, and canceling the measure that was set to increase the quantity tax from $100 to $200 per item starting June 1, 2025.
Tariffs on other countries
• Steel and aluminum tariffs: Starting June 4, Eastern Time, the U.S. will raise the tariffs on steel, aluminum, and their derivatives exported to the U.S. from all trading partners except the UK from 25% to 50%.
• Solar product tariffs: Starting in June, the U.S. will impose tariffs on solar equipment from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, with tax rates varying by company and country. Some manufacturers in Cambodia face rates as high as 3521%, while the average rate for Vietnam is 396%, Thailand 375%, and Malaysia 34%.
