If you live in a low-income family, you are likely guilty even of resting. Parents can’t stand you being idle, disapprove of your spending, and can’t bear to see you happy, let alone occasionally indulging yourself, which they can't even bear to look at. As long as you are not studying or working, you will become a thorn in their side; they will incessantly nag you and immediately assign you new tasks. They never care whether you are tired or not, they only insist on not letting you live comfortably. These types of parents always find trouble for themselves, forcing themselves to endure hardships, complaining or even cursing while working. As long as they are working, the children must not rest, because they are accustomed to a busy lifestyle, viewing constant labor as the norm, believing that enduring hardship is a skill and a talent. Children should be like them; in their eyes, life is a contest of suffering, the more hardship one endures, the more honorable they are, even unnecessary suffering must be borne as if that is what makes one impressive.
