Polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal has officially taken on the role of CEO of the Polygon Foundation, marking a change in the organization's leadership structure and a comprehensive overhaul of the long-term roadmap of the network.

Nailwal, who launched this project in 2017 when it was still called Matic Network, will consolidate control and direct the team towards AggLayer — a new cross-chain liquidity protocol by Polygon that promises seamless interoperability across the network.
