🚨 New to crypto trading? Let’s break it down👇
🔁 What’s a trading pair?
It’s two assets you trade against each other — like BTC/USDT.
BTC = base (what you're buying/selling)
USDT = quote (what it's priced in)
⚖️ Stablecoin vs Crypto Pairs
I mostly trade in stablecoin pairs (like ETH/USDT)
✅ Easier to track gains/losses in dollars
✅ Less volatility
But sometimes, crypto-to-crypto pairs (like ETH/BTC) give better opportunities when altcoins are strong 🧠
🔎 How to pick the right pair?
Want steady gains? → Go for stablecoins 🧊
Want to grow BTC/ETH holdings? → Use crypto pairs 🚀
Look at volume, volatility & spread — not just price!
📉 Example that taught me a lesson:
Traded MATIC/ETH instead of MATIC/USDT. ETH dipped, so even though MATIC stayed strong, my trade value dropped 💥
👉 Right pair = more control over your outcome.
