After $ETH , I will continue to keep a trading journal.
My flaws
1. No trading system
2. Emotional trading after losses
3. Preference for heavy positions after losses
4. Trading while emotional
5. Not strictly setting stop-losses, always relying on luck, constantly moving stop-losses
Contracts are about taking small risks for big rewards, not large risks for small rewards.
Yesterday's loss was truly because I underperformed.
Today, returning a portion was really due to a lot of luck.
Reviewing:
Last night, starting with 3100, I shorted SOL at 154, originally setting a stop-loss at 156.62, which resulted in a loss of 117u. Then, due to emotional trading, I increased my position and moved the stop-loss to 157 and 160. As a result, when I woke up today, from 3100, only a little over 1300 remained.
Then I continued to trade emotionally, heavily shorting SOL again, resulting in a loss. Continued to short ETH, lost again, shorted WIF and lost, consecutively losing 5 trades, leaving only less than 450u from 1300.
There was a moment when I truly felt despair.
Then I shorted 10 ETH at 2711, waited a long time, and exited around 2782, making a profit of 300u. (This trade was also not great because there were no strict stop-loss or take-profit strategies, I can only say it was luck).
Then I took a break and spent the whole day trading altcoins.
Stupid operations:
At 0.2324, I shorted RVN, held it to gain 20 points, but when there was profit, I couldn't resist and took off after just 2 points, really stupid (this trade had almost no floating loss time, it quickly went into profit, and was far from the cost price, but I just didn't hold on; if I had set a rebound take-profit based on the 15-minute chart, I could have gained over 10 points, but I didn't; originally could have made over 1000, but ended up taking only around 200).
At 0.458, I went long on AXL, similarly, I had the opportunity to gain one or two thousand, but ended up taking only around 200.
Because there was no trading plan or system, no take-profit or stop-loss strategies.
Lastly, regarding the new contract short on RESOLV in the evening, it was really foolish; I shouldn't have shorted, with a maximum floating loss of over 1000, almost facing liquidation.
Sigh.
I really need to take a break.
I must control my trading well and avoid large losses.
