1- At ETHGlobal (30/5 – 1/6/2025), Vitalik Buterin announced a plan to increase Ethereum's Layer 1 scalability by 10 times.

2 - The Ethereum Foundation has laid off staff and restructured its R&D team to focus on improving scalability and user experience. Vitalik: L2 cross-chain must achieve censorship-resistant characteristics at L1 level, trustless and without intermediaries.

3 - SharpLink Gaming successfully raised $425 million in a private placement, led by Consensys Software and several cryptocurrency investment funds.

4 - Galaxy Digital announced a partnership and support for SharpLink and is in the process of withdrawing 89,000 ETH from exchanges in the past 12 hours, and then transferring 108,278 $ETH (283 million dollars) to the whale/institution wallet 0x0b26.
