WAX is transitioning from an inflation-driven model to a deflationary and usage-driven blockchain model. The new model completely overturns the old system: previously, resources mainly relied on staking (accounting for 90%), while now the PowerUp mechanism will drive 90% of activities, reducing the demand for minting new tokens and increasing the amount of $WAXP burned.
