Why have so many people suddenly left Binance Alpha?
An inner monologue from a real user of Binance Alpha
• About points: No technology and no cheating, the first thing I do every day after waking up is to honestly trade on Alpha. I initially chose a trading volume of 8192, with a balance of 10,000 earning 3 points, leveraging the double points on the BSC chain, earning 17 points a day, which totals 255 points within a cycle. Recently, I've adjusted the trading volume to 16,000, and now I only increase by one point a day.
• About losses and costs: Daily losses are about 3 USDT, and occasionally I get wiped out, with a total loss of around 100 USDT per cycle.
• About the threshold: Based on the previous threshold of under 200, one could claim 3 airdrops within a cycle, but yesterday the threshold rose to 233 points, and today it's directly at 236 points 😅. If the threshold remains at this level in the future, one can only get 1-1.5 airdrops per cycle.
• About returns: Based on a recent average return of 100 USDT per airdrop, after deducting the loss and cost of 100 USDT, the net return per cycle is 50 USDT, with two cycles a month resulting in a monthly return of 100 USDT, which is 700 RMB.
• About the market: 700 RMB is not very appealing for an average person, and considering the initial investment and the risk of getting wiped out, enthusiasm diminishes even further…
Recently, I've seen many accounts receiving notifications of device bans. It’s clear that Binance has been cracking down on violations, and risk control is becoming stricter, but returns are getting lower…
Who will keep grinding it out? Those who understand the black technology and studios, and big players… retail investors probably don’t stand a chance anymore.
Yesterday, I saw someone say that KOGE/USDT can have fees as low as 0.000005, and for a 100,000 transaction, the loss is only 0.5 USDT, but the premise is that each transaction must be over 8,000 USDT; transactions of 1,000 are out of the question…
Alpha has ultimately become a game for big players; it’s all about the big players now. Where does that leave ordinary people in Alpha…? Can any experts give some guidance?
