#USChinaTradeTalks
A new round of talks is set to begin in London on Monday aimed at resolving the trade war between the United States and China.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Friday that a high-level American delegation will meet with Chinese representatives. Over the weekend, Beijing confirmed the attendance of Vice Premier He Lifeng at the talks.
These announcements came after a phone conversation between Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping last week, which the U.S. president described as "a very good conversation."
Last month, the world's two largest economies agreed to a temporary truce to reduce tariffs on goods traded between them, but since then, each country has accused the other of violating the agreement.
