#韩国加密政策 South Korea is continuously taking action on cryptocurrency policies. Starting in June, non-profit organizations and exchanges can sell cryptocurrencies according to regulations, while strengthening KYC and AML supervision to prevent money laundering. The elected president Lee Jae-myung proposed three major cryptocurrency policies: allowing spot ETFs, lowering investment thresholds, and enhancing liquidity; permitting pension funds to allocate cryptocurrency assets, sharing profits and promoting market compliance; issuing a Korean won stablecoin to prevent capital outflow and enhance financial sovereignty. However, currently, the activity level of cryptocurrency trading in South Korea remains low, and the effectiveness of reform commitments is yet to be seen.
