A cryptocurrency trading pair consists of two digital assets that you can exchange on a crypto exchange.
• The first currency is the base currency — this is what you’re buying or selling.
• The second currency is the quote currency — this is what you’re using to make the trade.
Example:
BTC/ETH
• BTC (Bitcoin) is the base
• ETH (Ethereum) is the quote
This pair shows how much ETH you need to get 1 BTC
