Colombian Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay, aged 39 and a presidential pre-candidate for the 2026 election, was shot during a campaign rally on Saturday, June 7, at El Golfito Park in BogotĂĄâs FontibĂłn district.
The attack occurred as Uribe Turbay was speaking to supporters; he was shot twice in the head and once in the chest/thigh area.
