#TradingPairs101

✅ What are Trading Pairs? Why are they necessary in trading?

Trading pairs are the pairs of assets that you can buy or sell to each other on an exchange.

For example:

• In the pair BTC/USDT, you are trading between Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT).

👉 If you buy this pair, it means you are using USDT to buy BTC.

👉 If you sell, it means you are selling BTC to receive USDT.

Similarly:

• Forex: EUR/USD = Buy euros with USD, or sell euros to get USD.

• International stocks: TSLA/BTC = Buy Tesla stock with Bitcoin (if the exchange supports it).

📌 Why are Trading Pairs important?

• Clearly determine which two types of assets you are trading between.

• Help you understand the trading direction (what to buy, what to sell).

• Affect your price analysis strategy and risk management.

• Some assets can only be traded through intermediaries (e.g., ALT/BTC, then BTC/USDT).
