#TradingPairs101
Trading Pairs 101 (Crypto Basics):
A trading pair shows the two assets you're trading between—one you're buying, the other you're selling.
Common Types:
Crypto-to-Crypto (e.g., BTC/ETH): Trade Bitcoin for Ethereum.
Crypto-to-Stablecoin (e.g., ETH/USDT): Trade Ethereum for Tether (a stable USD-pegged coin).
Crypto-to-Fiat (e.g., BTC/USD): Trade Bitcoin for U.S. Dollars (only on exchanges that support fiat).
How It Works:
In BTC/USDT, you're using USDT to buy BTC.
The first asset is the base (what you're buying or selling).
The second is the quote (what you're using to price and pay).
Tip: Always check which side you're trading—buying vs. selling—and the current price of the pair. Different pairs offer different liquidity and fees.
