of exchanging one cryptocurrency
for another or for fiat money.
It is used on
cryptocurrency exchanges to
determine the price and the
exchange process between two
assets.
Examples:
BTC/USDT: Exchanging Bitcoin
for the stablecoin USDT.
ETH/USD: Exchanging Ethereum for
US dollars. (and
BNB/ETH: Exchanging Binance:
Coin for Ethereum. In one pair, there can be both
cryptocurrency and fiat
money (fiat currency, like dollar,
euro).
