Capital has no good or evil; it can create the greatest evil and also the greatest good.
Good and evil are determined by structure. What is structure? It is the productive forces and production relations.
Humanity has come a long way from feudal society through authoritarian society to today's relatively free society. This is not because capital has improved, but because the current productive forces demand the liberation and freedom of human nature.
Although I have always been worried about robots taking away human jobs, this is just a possibility. From a human perspective, the winds often change the world order, and it doesn’t necessarily come from the central powers. For instance, Genghis Khan rose to power on the Mongolian plateau, the UK emerged from a small island on the fringes of Europe, and earlier still, the Qin dynasty rose from the Guanzhong region at the edge of the Central Plains.
What does this indicate? It indicates that humanity needs diversity. It is often difficult to predict what will drive humanity's next progress, while central empires often enter a steady state, as their structures have adapted after years of evolution; pulling one hair can move the whole body, making it difficult to correct.
This is why the United States is where it is today. Before Trump took office, I had some expectations for reform from these two individuals, but look at it now—chaos everywhere. Is there a stronger reformer than Trump in the US? I don’t think so. America’s fate is sealed, and the Roman Empire has begun its countdown.
China also suffers from many ailments, but the advantage of China is that its per capita income is still at a low point, with at least 3-5 times more room for development compared to developed countries. During this period, any problem will be offset by development.
