US President Donald Trump criticized billionaire Elon Musk today, Thursday, saying he feels "disappointed" due to Musk's public opposition to the comprehensive tax and spending reduction bill, which is at the heart of Trump's agenda. Musk stated, "Without me, the US president would have lost the elections."

Trump said in a statement at the White House, "Elon and I have a great relationship... I don't know if we will remain that way anymore."

He added, "He has said the nicest things about me, and personally, he hasn't said bad things about me, but I am sure that will come later. But I feel very disappointed in Elon... I have helped him a lot."

Trump also confirmed that Musk launched a fierce attack on the bill due to the proposed elimination of tax breaks for electric vehicle owners.
