Dominance $BTC is returning to its annual high – 65%

Let me remind you that the growth of dominance has been ongoing since 2022 (!).

Next scenarios, watch closely:

If Bitcoin starts to fall (high probability), then the altcoins that haven't been dug up yet will be buried again, and we won't hear about them until autumn.

If suddenly Bitcoin starts to go flat or rise (!), while dominance decreases, we might expect a local mini-pump of digital junk — memes and low-caps. The probability is small.

For everything to grow, dominance must drop directly — by at least 10% from the current levels. The probability of such a scenario is practically zero, unless some kind of black swan event occurs, like new crypto ETFs being approved suddenly. They are likely to be approved, but not in the summer.

If Bitcoin 'wanders' in the range of 102 - 106, and dominance continues to grow (it has room to grow — up to 70%), then altcoins will die a slow, painful death. By the end of summer, they will look like they have been buried, dug up, and then desecrated. But this scenario fits well with the one where, in the fall, interest rates are finally lowered to Trump's delight, new ETFs are approved, and everything 'takes off' on this cocktail — at least for those who just entered the market, it will look exactly like that. And here everything is very logical: first the ETFs, then positive news — they will plant a new generation of investors who will think that crypto is the future and now it definitely won't fall (heh) — in general, this scenario is my favorite, as you can understand. Rather, any scenario that implies some fate for altcoins.

That is, I certainly don't like this scenario, but it seems the most logical and likely.

What will happen if Bitcoin stays flat and dominance stays flat? Stability and stagnation would be a normal scenario for summer, but, damn, it somehow doesn't seem believable that this is possible during such insane times. I don't believe he won't slap tariffs on anyone for an entire month and won't get into a fight on Twitter with anyone.
