The cryptocurrency market is witnessing a positive trend as more and more large enterprises not only invest in Bitcoin but also integrate digital assets into their core business operations. Recently, Bluebird Mining Ventures, a gold mining company, announced plans to commercialize a gold project at #Philippines and specifically shift future mining revenues to Bitcoin. The company will also hold Bitcoin as a reserve asset, combining a strategy between physical gold and digital gold, demonstrating confidence in Bitcoin's role as a sustainable store of value.
According to a report from #StandardChartered , there are currently 61 publicly listed companies holding a total of approximately 673,900 BTC, accounting for about 3.2% of the global Bitcoin supply. In the past two months, these companies have purchased an additional 50,000 BTC to 100,000 BTC, at a faster pace than MicroStrategy. Notably, most of these companies are buying Bitcoin at an average price above $90,000, much higher than MicroStrategy's purchase price (around $70,000). Michael Saylor's perspective of "not taking risks is also a risk" and Changpeng Zhao's belief in risk management capabilities are clearly being demonstrated through the actions of these companies.
Additionally, the collaboration of the National Postal Service #Romania (Poșta Română) with the Bitcoin Romania exchange (BTR Exchange) to deploy cash deposit machines for crypto accounts right at the post offices is a significant step in bringing cryptocurrency closer to the public. The first machine has gone into operation in Tulcea, allowing people to deposit cash directly into crypto accounts. This system will soon be expanded, enhancing the accessibility and acceptance of cryptocurrencies in areas with limited access to digital technology.
These developments indicate the increasing integration and acceptance of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in both the business sector and everyday life, reinforcing the positive outlook for the long-term growth of the crypto market.
