CME has just announced May data with outstanding growth in the cryptocurrency futures segment. The average trading volume reached 28.9 million contracts per day. Notably, crypto futures trading increased by up to 145%! Ethereum futures recorded 17,000 contracts per day, while micro ETH surged by 235% (92,000 contracts per day) and micro BTC also rose by 95% (65,000 contracts per day). Signs indicate that institutional investors are increasingly aggressive with crypto futures.
