Aptos Labs CEO to Testify in the U.S. to Support Digital Asset Legislation
According to CoinWorld, Aptos Labs CEO Avery Ching will testify before the U.S. House of Representatives on June 4th, sharing insights on blockchain infrastructure development and digital asset regulation.
The hearing, themed “The Future of American Innovation and Digital Assets: From Blueprint to Practical Framework,” aims to promote a clear and practical legislative framework for digital asset market structures. Avery Ching will discuss the crucial role of tokens in open networks from the perspective of an engineer and builder, and will illustrate the importance of regulation for technological innovation through practical examples on the Aptos chain.
It is noteworthy that Aptos is one of the few Layer 1 blockchain projects invited to speak in Congress, and the testimony of its founder and CEO indicates that U.S. policymakers are gradually recognizing the application potential of underlying blockchain technology.
The hearing will be chaired by the Agricultural Committee under the CFTC (U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission), and Avery's testimony will be formally recorded and may serve as an important reference for future policymaking.
