Fibonacci Sequence - Golden Spiral: with humor
The sequence starts with two natural numbers (depending on the reference, with 0 and 1 in some cases and in others with 1 and 1), and from here, each subsequent number is the sum of the two previous ones:
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34...
The Italian mathematician, Leonardo of Pisa, also known as Fibonacci, was the one who described it in the 13th century.
Later on, a relationship between the golden number and the Fibonacci sequence was found, first by the astronomer Kepler and finally demonstrated by the Scottish mathematician Robert Simson.
The golden ratio can be found in nature, from the arrangement of seeds in a sunflower or the spiral of a hurricane, to the shape of galaxies.
