Ukraine Drone Attack make Huge Damage to Russian Airbases

Ukraine has launched a major drone attack on at least four Russian airbases, claiming to have damaged or destroyed over 40 strategic bomber planes, including TU-95s, TU-22M3s, and A-50 aircraft. The operation, named “Spider’s Web,” was reportedly planned over 18 months and personally overseen by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ukrainian security sources say drones were hidden in mobile wooden cabins and remotely launched inside Russia. Russian media acknowledged attacks in Murmansk and Irkutsk but stated air defenses were active. Ukraine estimates the damage at over $2 billion. Meanwhile, Ukraine faced a large-scale Russian aerial assault involving 472 drones and seven missiles, with 385 targets reportedly neutralized.This marks a significant worsening in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
