The video game giant GameStop (GME) announced the purchase of 4,710 bitcoins, for a total amount of approximately 513 million dollars.

The operation is part of its new cash strategy in BTC, unveiled in March, after raising 1.3 billion dollars through a debt issuance.

The announcement, made on X (formerly Twitter), does not include details on the price or the exact purchase date.

Following this news, the stock #GME rose by +4% in pre-market, while the price of #Bitcoin remained stable around 108,000 $.
