#FuturesTrading How to Trade Futures on Binance

Trading futures on Binance allows you to profit from both rising and falling crypto prices by using leverage. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

1. Open a Binance Futures Account

Sign in to your Binance account.

Go to the Futures tab.

Complete any required verification and enable Futures trading.

2. Transfer Funds to Futures Wallet

Click Transfer in your wallet.

Move USDT or another supported coin from your Spot Wallet to your Futures Wallet.

3. Choose a Futures Market

Select USDT-M Futures (most popular) or COIN-M Futures (settled in crypto).

Example: BTC/USDT Perpetual.

4. Select Leverage

Click on the leverage amount (e.g. 20x).

Choose your desired leverage (start low, like 5x if you're new).

5. Place an Order

Choose your order type:

Market (buy/sell instantly)

Limit (set your price)

Stop Limit or Stop Market (for risk management)

Select Buy/Long if you think the price will go up.

Select Sell/Short if you think the price will go down.

6. Monitor and Close Your Position

Track your PNL (Profit & Loss) in real time.

You can manually close your position at any time or use a Stop-Loss/Take-Profit.

7. Manage Risk

Use Stop-Loss orders to avoid big losses.

Never use high leverage without understanding the risks.

Only trade what you can afford to lose.
