I've been unemployed for a month, leaving my resume everywhere, my girlfriend is already treating me coldly, my mother-in-law looked me in the eyes and said that I'm not a man for her daughter, I was humiliated by my mother-in-law yesterday at my girlfriend's house, just because I'm not employed, she said she never wanted her daughter to date me, that I'm not on her level and all that, but I'm a hardworking person, I'm very hurt and sad, my girlfriend is already treating me coldly, I feel useless, I just wanted to be able to give my best, but I'm failing!
I can understand my mother-in-law to some extent, her daughter is in college for nursing and has a good standard of living, I don't have any of that, I only have a high school diploma, I couldn't afford college because I either work or study! One piece of advice I give to you who have a good family and invest in yourselves for a good future, thank God for having that opportunity, make your parents proud, study, give your best, because the person who doesn't have the same opportunity, I wish I could realize my dream of one day being a dentist, but I have to pay the bills, help my mother who is sick, she was choked by 11 doctors, she had cancer, but thank God she is healed! But this was just a vent, and because I'm very sad, for being nobody! I just wanted to be someone.
