Yes, you heard that right. Circle — the issuer of USDC — has officially filed for an IPO. The company plans to list on the NYSE under the ticker $CRCL.

This will be the second major crypto company to go public, following Coinbase. Kraken is next — and after that, other exchanges will likely follow.
