🔓 SBF Could Be Released Early by 4 Years
Sam Bankman-Fried, former CEO of FTX, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for fraud related to the collapse of this exchange. However, due to good behavior and participation in a rehabilitation program, he could have his sentence reduced by 4 years, plus 2 months of pre-sentencing detention counted towards the time served.
This sentence reduction is causing fierce controversy: many believe it is a normal process, but there are also many opinions that it is unfair to the millions of affected investors.
