⚡⚡⚡ The team #Cetus has called for a community vote on a protocol update to return frozen funds, without rolling back the chain history or canceling transactions. This is an unusual request in response to an unusual need – the funds of clients #Cetus are in jeopardy. After consideration, we support their call for an on-chain vote under two conditions:
1) We will abstain from voting and remain neutral regarding the outcome – our role is to design and facilitate a process that reflects the will of the community #Sui as a whole. We will soon share details of the design and the code.
2) #Cetus must publicly commit to mobilizing all of its financial resources to restore all funds and return them to clients until everyone gets everything back.
