Cetus is offering a $5 million reward for information leading to the hacker.
Cetus, the primary decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol on Sui, has announced a $5 million reward for anyone who can identify the individual responsible for the $223 million hack that occurred on May 22, 2025.
Following the exploit, Cetus had attempted to reach a "white hat" agreement with the hacker, especially after the theft caused a significant drop in the value of most Sui tokens. However, as of May 23, the Cetus team has received no communication from the perpetrator, prompting them to offer the substantial bounty for information.
