Bitcoin VS Altcoins
Holding Bitcoin and buying on pullbacks can provide peace of mind; however, the risks associated with altcoins are completely different—no matter how 'revolutionary' the team is, how 'promising' the roadmap is, or how 'disruptive' the use case is, altcoins will almost always go to zero in the face of Bitcoin.
Altcoin Operation Strategies
• Select a few projects carefully, do not dilute your portfolio with two or three dozen 'junk coins'.
• Avoid dead projects or obvious pump-and-dump scams; use your brain to make decisions.
• Buy on oversold conditions: pay attention to the 3-day or weekly RSI; only consider entering when RSI < 30.
• Extend your perspective: look at the price chart for 3–5 years; if it looks 'bad' at first glance, give up.
• Fundamental research: pay attention to token unlock schedules, TVL, actual user numbers, etc.
• Build positions in batches: enter 3–5 times at key support levels, avoid going all-in at once.
• Set reasonable take-profit levels: be satisfied with 50%, 100%, or 200% gains, avoid chasing 100x; secure your profits.
• Complete one cycle before starting again: each cycle will repeat, refreshing is healthier.
