Binance partners with Uber Eats stores, enter the discount code to enjoy free pizza
On the important anniversary for Bitcoin fans, 'Bitcoin Pizza Day', the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has launched a special event for Taiwanese users; simply open the delivery platform Uber Eats and enter the specified discount code to enjoy free pizza delivery service.
Yesterday (5/21), Binance previewed on social media platforms like Instagram and Threads: 'Open the Uber Eats App, look for clues about Pizza Day, enter the discount code to enjoy a free order, and celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day together!'
Users participating in the Binance Uber Eats Pizza Day event can also tag Binance's official Chinese account (@binance.zh) in their IG stories and participate in a small Binance Coin ($BNB) lottery through post comments.

Has the Binance Pizza Day discount code leaked early? Did users enjoy free pizza in advance?
Although Binance's official community has not yet announced the Uber Eats 'discount code' for free pizza, and as of 11 AM today, no clues related to Pizza Day were seen on the Uber Eats app, it seems that some Threads users have 'enjoyed' free pizza in advance.
Crypto influencer Turtle Talk founder Michael Turtle tested yesterday and saw the Binance Bitcoin Pizza Day event from a certain pizza store on the Uber Eats app in advance; entering the promo code 'BINANCEPIZZA' allows for redemption of free pizza.

However, the Binance official community responded: 'The event officially goes live at 11 AM on 5/22; any activities prior to the official launch are unrelated to this event,' and the editor from Crypto City tested the promo code at 11 AM earlier, which already showed 'The discount has reached the redemption limit.'

Binance commemorates the most delicious day of Web3 with pizza
Through the free pizza airdrop activity, Binance commemorated a very important day for Bitcoin fans:
'On this day in 2010, an engineer bought two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins, making 5/22 the most delicious day in Web3 history!'
There are also some interesting anecdotes about Bitcoin Pizza Day, such as how the person who received 10,000 bitcoins back then has long sold them and used the proceeds for travel expenses. For Bitcoin enthusiasts at that time, they merely regarded Bitcoin as currency for exchanging goods, which is very different from the current view of Bitcoin as a store of value or investment asset.
