As part of its global commitment to securing the digital ecosystem, Binance participated in two major trainings organized in March and May 2025, under the EU4Security project funded by the European Union, aimed at enhancing law enforcement capabilities in Moldova to tackle crimes related to digital currencies.

In March 2025, a member of the Binance Special Investigations Team led a practical training session on blockchain analysis and cryptocurrency crimes, providing advanced technical tools, real case studies, and guidance for investigators on how to trace funds in a decentralized environment using OSINT techniques and public on-chain data analysis.

Later, in May 2025, Garik Jacobchik, head of the Law Enforcement Training Program at Binance, led a virtual training session where he provided updated guidance on cooperating with authorities, advanced studies on extortion and ransomware programs, contributing to empowering more than 20 experts, including prosecutors and financial intelligence officers, to effectively combat digital crime.

Why is this important?

Moldova is a focal point in European cybersecurity, and Binance's collaboration with organizations such as CEPOL and Europol underscores its deep commitment to enhancing digital security and building effective bridges between the public and private sectors.
