Former artist from Los Angeles Ed Suman, who worked on famous sculptures, particularly Jeff Koons' Balloon Dog series, lost his retirement savings in cryptocurrencies amounting to over $2 million amid a Coinbase data leak.

Suman began investing in cryptocurrencies in 2017. Over several years, he accumulated savings for retirement: 17.5 BTC and 225 ETH worth $2.4 million at the time of writing.

As a result of fraud related to the user data leak of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, which the company officially reported last week, he lost his savings.
