The GENIUS bill was introduced for the first time in its legislative journey, successfully overcoming its first major hurdle as 16 Democratic representatives joined Republicans in the vote. Although there are many steps ahead, this is an early historic step towards the approval of the stablecoin legislation. Market events once again demonstrate that cryptocurrencies are among the most significant bipartisan issues on the political landscape in Congress.
