The official driver software from Shenzhen printer company Procolored has been found to contain a backdoor, allowing hackers to steal 9.3 bitcoins.
On May 19, according to Blue Point Network, the official driver software provided by Shenzhen printer company Procolored was found to contain a backdoor program used to steal cryptocurrency, with data showing that the amount of bitcoin stolen by hackers reached 9.3.
The infection occurred because Procolored used USB drives to transfer these drivers, and after being infected with the backdoor program, Procolored uploaded it to a cloud storage service for global users to download.
