#CryptoRegulation #XRP Important update on the SEC vs Ripple case

The court denied the requests from Ripple and the SEC for a partial reconsideration of the final decision (closure of the legal proceedings).

The regulator and representatives of Ripple filed a request under the guise of "approval of a settlement," but Judge Analisa Torres viewed this as an attempt to change an already issued verdict.

📌 Conclusion: Previous court decisions, including Ripple's fine of $125m, remain in effect. The company and the regulator will have to seek other ways to resolve the dispute.

On August 8th, the court ruled that Ripple must pay a fine of $125,000,000.

By the same court ruling, the XRP token is not recognized as a security. Sales of coins on cryptocurrency exchanges are legal.

Question for Ripple: how much more would you have earned in the last year if the fine issue had been resolved back then?

I’m sure it would be more than $125 million.
