• The CBDC Anti-Surveillance Nation Act: In May 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives narrowly passed this bill aimed at preventing the issuance of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) without congressional authorization, on the grounds that it threatens the "financial privacy rights of Americans."

• Trump Signs Bill Overturning DeFi Tax Reporting Requirement: On April 11, 2025, U.S. President Trump signed the Congressional Review Act, overturning previous tax rules that required DeFi platforms to submit user transaction data to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), freeing up space for decentralized financial innovation.

• Arizona Bitcoin Reserve Bill: In April 2025, the Arizona House of Representatives passed two Bitcoin reserve bills, SB1025 and SB1373, allowing the state treasury and pension systems, as well as the digital asset strategic reserve fund managed by the state treasurer, to invest a certain percentage of funds in digital assets such as Bitcoin; however, it is currently awaiting the governor's signature.
