The Telegram messaging service, which hosted a significant Chinese darknet marketplace suspected of supporting cryptocurrency schemes and cybercrime, has shut it down.
After Telegram banned thousands of related accounts on May 13, Haowang Guarantee, formerly known as Huione Guarantee, the biggest illegal marketplace on the internet, announced that it will close.
