$BTC Bitcoin Surpasses $100,000, But Traditional Investor Interest Fades
Bitcoin has crossed the $105,000 mark, yet exchange reserves remain largely unchanged despite continued outflows. This suggests that while short-term price movements persist, many investors are holding their BTC, signaling strong long-term confidence.
However, enthusiasm for spot purchases and Bitcoin spot ETFs has notably declined. Even though exchange reserves are shrinking, ETF buying activity has dropped by more than half.
This trend reflects a weakening appetite among traditional investors, despite their continued optimism about Bitcoin’s future. On the other hand, retail and exchange-based traders still appear driven by FOMO (fear of missing out), fueling BTC's upward momentum. Looking ahead, Bitcoin's ability to sustain its rally may depend on whether traditional investors return and increase their buying power.
