🧬 Solana calls for unification — is a metachain on the horizon?
Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana, rolled out an idea more powerful than coffee on a Monday:
A unified metachain that synchronizes Solana, Ethereum, and Celestia into one transaction chain.
✔️ Why?
To make data storage cheaper and more scalable than ever.
🗣️ Nader Dabit from EigenLayer has already supported it: the idea is fire, especially in the context of scaling.
But not everyone is applauding.
🗣️ Nick White from Celestia is reserved: he believes the project is too complex and expensive to implement.
Metachain or metaillusion?
We'll live and see. But it sounds like Web3 is stepping up to a new level.
