Cryptocurrency Market Capitalization Reaches US$3.29 Trillion, Surpassing Apple-NVIDIA
The cryptocurrency market capitalization reached US$3.29 trillion on Tuesday (May 13), after the asset increased again as the trade war tensions between the United States and China eased. This means that cryptocurrencies as a whole have surpassed Apple at US$3.1 trillion and NVIDIA at US$3 trillion.
Not only that, US President Donald Trump's decision to cut tariffs on China from 145% to 30% for 90 days also caused Bitcoin to touch US$105,000 again on Monday (May 12). A more significant increase was achieved by Ethereum at 36% in the last 7 days.
Based on technical analysis, BlockDAG, a blockchain company, predicts that the cryptocurrency market capitalization could reach US$10 trillion by 2025. However, several factors could potentially influence the market, such as regulatory changes, technological advancements, political factors, and the global economy.
