Dubai's Department of Finance has signed an agreement with a global crypto exchange to enable cryptocurrency payments for government services.
Individuals and businesses can pay government fees using cryptocurrencies through that crypto exchange which will convert them to UAE dirhams.
The aim is to make financial transactions across public and private sectors cashless by 2026.
