Saros Launches DLMM: Solana's DeFi Finally Stops Slacking Off

Recently, while scrolling through Twitter, a familiar yet unfamiliar name popped up: @saros_xyz. This DEX, which once had a weak presence on Solana, suddenly did something significant: launched its self-developed DLMM, attracting a lot of attention from old users and LPs.

At first, I didn't take it seriously until I delved into the mechanism design and realized: this isn't just adding a feature; it's Saros rewriting the underlying logic of Solana DeFi.

What is DLMM? Why is it worth paying attention to?

In a nutshell: it provides a smarter, more efficient liquidity support system for DeFi.

Similar to Uniswap V3's concentrated liquidity but with automatic range adjustment, LPs don't have to operate frequently by hand.

Supports a variety of assets including Meme, blue-chip, and stablecoins, providing a smoother trading experience.

Structurally, it was designed by the original technical team of Trader Joe, not a copy but a collaboration.

More importantly, Saros has made this DLMM the core of its entire product line: contracts, Launchpad, AI tool SaiRos, and future strategy modules are all built around DLMM.

Is the Solana ecosystem getting competitive? Let's take a look at the comparison:

Raydium is still stuck in the old AMM model, lacking mechanism iteration.

Meteora has launched DLMM but has a complicated interaction that hampers user experience.

Pump doesn't connect with Jupiter, leading to a direct traffic drop.

What Saros is doing is a fundamental mechanism reconstruction, paired with UI/UX optimization, refreshing everything from the ground up.

In the testing phase, we are already seeing results:

LP earnings are more stable, with a trend of increasing returns.

Slippage is reduced, making it suitable for trading high-volatility assets like Meme and AI.

User feedback indicates a larger strategy space, with future adaptations for automated arbitrage logic.

What Saros is currently doing is essentially a second venture for Solana's DeFi. DLMM + AI strategy module + Launchpad + Stake reward mechanism = a new growth engine, a new narrative starting point.

If the SaiRos tool launches next, the entire DeFi automated arbitrage and quantitative strategy could really usher in a second spring for TVL on Solana.

Keep an eye on Saros; this is not just a feature upgrade, but a generational shift in the DeFi engine.
