The SEC just filed public settlement documents — here’s how things could unfold:
1️⃣ Judge Torres must give an indicative ruling:
•Should the injunction be lifted?
•Should $50M go to the SEC and the rest back to Ripple from escrow?
2️⃣ If she does, both SEC and Ripple will request a limited remand from the Second Circuit to take action in Judge Torres’ court.
3️⃣ Once approved, they’ll file a motion for the fund release and injunction removal.
4️⃣ After that, they’ll ask to dismiss the SEC’s appeal and Ripple’s cross-appeal.
