#StripeStablecoinAccounts

Stripe announced new products, including accounts in stablecoins USDC and USDB. These innovations will allow third-party counterpart accounts to open accounts through companies. According to the release, platform clients will have the ability to send, receive, and store funds in stablecoins. The product is fully analogous to traditional banking. Innovations are available in 101 countries and support only these two assets, USDC and USDB, the latter being a dollar stablecoin from the infrastructure provider Bridge. Stripe acquired it for $1.1 billion in October 2024. Payments are available on two networks - Solana and Ethereum. Additionally, there will be a payment system based on AI, Payments Foundation Model. This model will be used to optimize payment routes and combat fraud.
