*Dan Boneh is the head of the applied cryptography group at the Computer Science Department of Stanford University.

Dan Boneh and Professor David Mazieres (scientist of the SCP protocol (the protocol Nicolas used for the Pi network) lead the FDCI - Future of Digital Currency Initiative, a collaboration between Stanford and ITU (International Telecommunication Union of 193 countries).

FDCI is led by Stellar Developer Foundation (SDF) - David Mazieres, who is mentioned in the Pi white paper 2019.
