#FOMCMeeting

What to expect from the meeting?

It is likely that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged, in the current range of 4.25% to 4.50%, for the third time in a row. This is due to the following economic challenges:

Economic growth: The U.S. economy experienced a contraction of 0.3% in gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2025.

Labor market: Despite the contraction, the labor market remains relatively strong, with the addition of 177,000 jobs in April.
