Semler Scientific (NASDAQ: SMLR) has further expanded its Bitcoin (BTC) holdings, according to a regulatory filing submitted Monday morning. The company acquired an additional 167 BTC last week, investing approximately $16.2 million at an average price of around $97,000 per coin.

The funding for this purchase appears to have come largely from equity sales. Semler disclosed it sold about 1.166 million shares under its April 15 at-the-market offering, raising $39.8 million. Notably, the company had previously reported Bitcoin acquisitions on April 25 and April 30.

Following the latest purchase, Semler now holds a total of 3,634 BTC, acquired at a cumulative cost of $322.3 million. This equates to an average purchase price of approximately $88,668 per Bitcoin. With Bitcoin currently trading near $94,000, the total market value of Semler’s holdings now exceeds $340 million.
